Id prefer a helm driven unit as I do not want to convert the cable steering to hydraulic. Trophy 2152 43 Merc Alpha-1 sterndrive 3500 lbs. Dry weight displacement around 2300 pounds.

Good luck finding the Autopilot fo 500 Canadian though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk. One pushpull cable for each rudder both originating from the helm unit.
Each cable will protrude through the hull near the rudder and attach to small tiller arms on the rudder posts outdoors down on the transom steps for each hull. I also require an auto helm unit naturally. This unit should work with the dual cable steering system.
Aug 7 2019. I know some guys use the Lowrance Outboard Pilot Cable Steer on their IOs dont know why it wouldnt work with a straight inboard. The main thing is the computer you may want to get the NAC-2 and the cable steer helm separately as the kit.
